Maradona. El Pibe de Oro.
Diego Armando Maradona. One of the football greats. I really wanted to create an illustration about him and his nickname, El Pibe de Oro, The golden child. So pretty straightforward, I made a portrait of a golden Maradona. I started in black and white and then introduced the color. I am happy because I was able to create the illustration entirely in Procreate on my iPad, and finalized a few details in Photoshop. Limited edition prints are available in links below.
