Censored.
As an artist, I was always felt lucky and privileged to be able to express myself through my art. My father, a painter, always told me that censorship was the worst thing that could happen to an artist. I have felt even more troubled lately in the wake of all the voices out there calling for equality and freedom, many of them being silenced, or unheard. That being said, I strongly believe that the younger generations deserve to be listened to. They are the crazy and the misfits. It is with them in mind that I drew this piece. Their voice being torn and silenced around the world. Don’t let go. Trust yourselves.
Thanks for watching.
